Alessio Savona – Osteopath, BSc. Osteo.

Alessio trained as an Osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy in London. He has worked in various multidisciplinary clinics in London and completed post-graduate training in Classical Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy.

In addition to common musculoskeletal problems Alessio specializes in the treatment of systemic medical conditions and constitutional diseases. His focus is to restore the balance between the structure and function of the body and enhance the body’s own healing mechanisms in order to restore health naturally.

Alessio’s evaluation and treatment processes are personalized to each individual patient and benefit people in all stages of life, from newborns to the elderly, manual and office workers, pregnant women and sports people.

Alessio is Italian but has a multicultural background and is interested in traveling, motorcycling and socializing, as well as being a keen sportsman and cook!

   

Ashley Mcdonald – Registered Massage Therapist, BA

Ashley received her Diploma of Massage Therapy from McKay School (Canada). She worked in private practice in Canada before joining us here in Hong Kong.

Ashley is bilingual, speaking both English and French fluently. She has spent many years dedicated to sports such as volleyball, track and field, figure skating, swimming and tennis. As an avid athlete, Ashley has taken a particular interest in sports massage, and has a great passion for health due to her own many injuries. She is also especially interested in the treatments of Whiplash, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Constipation, Back Pain and Pregnancy.

Ashley has great touch, hitting all the right spots and we encourage you to try a truly excellent treatment with her.

   

Jenny Woolsey Harris - Registered Massage Therapist, Director and Co-owner

As the eldest child of a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Jenny has massage in her blood! Jenny received her Diploma of Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan School (Canada), graduating top of her class, and co-founded Sutherland-Chan Centre Hong Kong in 2005, after gaining diverse clinical experience in various private practices in both Canada and Hong Kong.

Jenny has a strong interest in the treatment of cervical spine (neck) issues, TMJ (jaw) and Iliopsoas release. Since having her first child in 2010 she has a special empathy for women in the child bearing years and beyond.

She is an ardent supporter of the massage profession and all it can do for each individual’s quality of life and well-being. Jenny is a sought after and respected therapist and facilitator, as well as being a published author and Massage Therapist educator, and has been a key figure in gaining the recognition and acceptance now enjoyed by Canadian RMT’s in Hong Kong.

   

Justin Misfud - Registered Massage Therapist, BA

Justin’s interests in manual bodywork began on a visit to Thailand, after studying Thai Massage.

He went on to study at Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto, (Canada) and received his diploma there. He has since worked in multidisciplinary environments such as Chiropractic and Physiotherapy clinics, as well as in a spa environment.

He focuses on assessment and utilizes a variety of techniques from joint play to advanced myofascial work to help alleviate his clients’ discomfort.

Often his clients have said Justin has “magic hands.”

He believes time for relaxation is the key to a healthy mind, body and spirit.

   

Lawrence Lam – Registered Massage Therapist, BSc

Lawrence Lam, our newest addition to the RMT staff. Having worked as an RMT in a physiotherapy environment, Lawrence’s assessment and treatment skills are perfect for your post-injury therapy. His unique brand of massage therapy includes myofascial and deep tissue techniques. Your treatments will be supplemented with excellent stretching and strengthening exercises.

Lawrence became interested in rehabilitation while obtaining his B.SC in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. He has experience working in a physiotherapy environment, having worked with sports teams, return-to-work programmes and at hospitals.

Lawrence is fluent in both Chinese and English.

   

Lindsay Eng – Registered Massage Therapist, BSc

Lindsay Eng received her Diploma of Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan School (Canada). Shortly after graduating she began working in Sutherland-Chan Professional Clinics in Toronto and then Hong Kong.

In practice, Lindsay integrates strong clinical assessment skills with Swedish and Myofascial techniques to improve the well being of her clients. She believes massage can be a valuable tool for treating injuries and sports-related conditions, coping with occupational stresses, and increasing overall relaxation.

Experience as a trainer for her dragon boat team and her general interest in fitness have given Lindsay a well-rounded knowledge to devise effective treatment and self-care plans.

Lindsay also holds a BSc. in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. When not treating, she enjoys traveling around Asia!

   

Marcia Reyes - Registered Massage Therapist

Marcia Reyes received her Diploma of Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan School (Canada). Since graduating, she has worked in Sutherland-Chan Clinics in Toronto and then Hong Kong.

Like all our therapists, Marcia is qualified in a whole range of treatments. One of her specialties is treatment of scar tissue after reconstructive procedures, especially following cancer treatment.

She is also passionate about women’s health issues, in particular healthy breast awareness through self examination and professional breast massage treatment.

Marcia also brings with her a corporate background, which gives her an added insight into how stress can be detrimental to health.

Marcia enjoys traveling, yoga and exploring Hong Kong, whether on foot on by trying out the different cuisines on offer!

   

Raili Touchet – Registered Massage Therapist

Raili comes to us from BC Canada with over 18 years of experience, including owning and operating her own clinic as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Raili also has a diploma in Psychiatric Nursing and has worked as a nurse in Canada.

Learning new skills is an important aspect of Raili's practice and she is experienced in many diverse areas - cranio-sacral, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, muscle balance and function, connective tissue massage, hot stone therapy, neuro-muscular therapy and reiki.

Drawing from all these extra skills, plus her amazingly experienced and caring hands, Raili ensures that each massage treatment is a truly unique experience.

Raili's main interest is photography and she has brought 3 cameras with her from Canada to capture life in Hong Kong and the rest of Asia - which she is looking forward to exploring and immersing herself in!

   

Sean O'Sullivan – Osteopath, BSc (Honours) Ost

Sean practices Structural Osteopathy and Craniosacral therapy.

He is a board registered Osteopath from Ireland and graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in the United Kingdom.

He has worked for well-renowned Osteopath, Nigel Bassett , as well as with sole osteopathic practitioners, multidisciplinary clinics and doctors' surgeries in both the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Sean is an ambassador for the European School of Osteopathy, a testament to his dedication to the profession.

A keen sportsman, Sean's passion is enhancing sporting performance through technique and structure. Regular preventative treatments with Sean are recommended although he can also work wonders with strains and sprains.

As well as specialising in sports-related treatment, Sean has a large range of experience from pregnancy through to pediatrics. He believes that finding the origin of the patient’s problem by addressing the cause of the problem will inevitably have an effect on the symptoms and will go a long way to removing discomfort.

   

Starry Wong – Registered Massage Therapist, BSc

Starry, a Hong Kong native, received her Diploma of Massage Therapy from Elmcrest College (Ontario, Canada). Her experience ranges from practice in a chiropractic clinic to a top Canadian spa. She is also an alumni at the University of Waterloo, with a BSc degree in Biology.

Some of Starry’s specialties include working with frozen shoulder, chronic low back pain and working with patients in recovery from motor vehicle accidents. She performs Swedish massage for both therapeutic and relaxation purposes and is also experienced in pregnancy massage.

Starry is a native English speaker as well as fluent in Cantonese - a welcome addition for our Cantonese speaking clientele. When not working, she enjoys volunteering with the elderly, traveling and studying health-related issues.
